Mini Split and Heat pump units are no longer restricted to large wall-mounted units, you can configure your home comfort system from Mitsubishi Electric with the traditional wall-mounted units or any of their more sleek or hidden options. From a horizontal-duct unit, ceiling cassette, floor-mounted, or EZ FIT recessed ceiling cassette you'll be able to find the right unit(s) to match your home's style and your comfort needs.

Single Zone or Multi-Zone

The amount of units you'll need in your home is very dependent on how open your home is and the amount of rooms you are looking to heat and cool. Traditionally mini-split air conditioners work the best when cooling a single floor with one outdoor unit and one inside unit. Multi-zone systems allow for one outdoor unit and several indoor units to heat and cool multiple floors and rooms with individualized temperature control for each unit.

Mini-Split Inverter Technology

Mini-split systems combine your indoor units with an outdoor unit that moves the heated refrigerant from or into your home depending on the need. In the summer, the inverter moves the hot air from inside your home to outside and during the winter time moves air from outside your home and heats it as it moves within your home. The inverter allows for this to happen when older mini-split air conditioners would only move hot air from the inside to the outside.

The inverter allows for a more efficient kind of cooling. Traditional air conditioning turns off when the desired temperature is reached and on again when the temperature dips below the desired thermostat setting. Mitsubishi's inverter technology allows for the indoor unit to remain on constantly, using a lower level of energy compared to the high and low fluctuations. The inverter allows a constant switch between temperatures to ensure constant comfort is maintained.

Advanced Air Filtration

While maintaining your desired level of comfort Mitsubishi Electric indoor unit keeps each room or space clean of allergens, dust, viruses, and bacteria. Conventional systems have a filter but only at the central unit, each indoor unit's filter is washable and lasts up to 10 years.

•   Deodorizing Filter: Using nanotechnology, these filters absorb and neutralize the worst smells.
