ABOUT US - It's OUR HOMETOWN TOO!
Hometown Heating LLC is a local, family business started in 1998. We
are known for customer service. If you call us on the phone, you'll talk to a live person who knows who you are and how long you've been a customer. If you want automatic delivery, delivery once a month, or want to call for a delivery, we will accommodate your needs. Even though we have thousands of customers in surrounding towns, each one matters to us. Most of our business comes from word of mouth from other customers who have been pleased with our friendly, professional service and competitive prices.
We are members of the Independent CT Petroleum Association and the Northeastern CT Chamber of Commerce. Our license number is #308616, and we are fully insured. See photos.
THE OWNERS
Hometown Heating LLC is
owned by Jacqueline and Jim Booth. Jim also owns J. Booth Construction, so Hometown Heating LLC partners with them for tank removals. Their parents ran the Golden Lamb Buttery restaurant for 45 years until their daughter, Katie, took it over in 2008. Their son Ricky graduated from UCONN and is currently working for a non-profit organization in Cuenca, Ecuador. Amy is a manager for Target Corporation.
There are over 700 scenic acres of committed open space on the family farm. Hillandale Farm was purchased in 1940 by Henry Booth, who invented the PhotoMetriC custom tailoring system. Henry Booth was the grandson of General William Booth, who founded the Salvation Army.
The Booth family formed the non-profit Foundation Good Samaritan in Action (FGSA). FGSA supports a non-profit medical clinic, vaccination program, a malnutrition treatment program, and a community health education program in Haiti. To date, FGSA has raised $50,000 from the generous folks in the Northeastern CT ten town area in for earthquake relief in Haiti.
GENERAL MANAGER
Peter Zulli, our General Manager, has been with us since Day 1. He has worked in the home heating business since 1990. You will find that he is extremely knowledgeable and personable, and excellent about follow up. Pete, his wife, and two children live in Pomfret.
